Honest dishonesty, and other such things.

The world will chew you up, and spit you out

There’s a saying that goes “expecting the world to treat you fairly, because you treat people fairly, is like expecting a lion not to eat you because you didn’t eat it.”

The world is big and has a lot of people. The world is a bigger threat than you will ever be.

Take some time to thing through what kind of people inhabit the world, corrupt policemen, murderers, organized crime. Ok so say you make the choice to become a real bandit to appease these people, there’s also honest police officers, goverment bureaucracy, and courts of law.

Means to an end

I heard a rap lyric a while back “What’s a G without the means.” A criminal means is a way to bring yourself to do something illegal. Hacking is an example of a criminal means, not just gangbanging and brawling. A criminally underrated means, if you ask me. Erm, excuse the pun.

There’s obviously legal means, but you wouldn’t call em that. We have a lot of words like skills, abilities, talents, aptitude. Making money is an example, the people that figure out how to make money find it easy similar to how typing or thinking would be to you.

Which brings me to an important point of awareness. Every situation carries challenges, a different set of expectations, new rules. This is what makes it all so difficult.

You cannot opt out of every battle of wits

There’s someone smarter than you at every skill you have. Even if you are the best in the world, big groups will cooperate to become better than you. Everything is a battle of wits.

Criminal mindedness at the core means to be aware of unethical, even illegal means to an end. It doesn’t have to mean being criminal, police officers are definitely criminal minded, that goes along with their job. Understand your enemy.

See it as a defense against mean spirited people. No one can fool you if you understand how they are fooling you.It doesn’t mean to live life illegal, just be aware of the psychology.

Thought-freedom is yours

No one can know what you’re thinking. They can make guesses, at best, but there’s no guarantee. Some things just come out of left field, and you’re left scratching your head like “How did that happen?”

Underestimating could, for a lot of people, be a real annoying and frustrating obstacle. But in reality underestimating is always in your advantage. If they “underestimate you” and you don’t give them a hard reality check, they weren’t underestimating you at all. They were assessing you correctly.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate how, no one can know how you think and feel. As long as you don’t reveal what you’re thinking, you’re free to think any way you want. I know I definitely had a lot of strange, irrational and different-thinking. Which can be an asset, if you can hold the line and not let your life outward go under. Yeah.

You’re free to think everything, and anything you want!

Outwitting people doesn’t make you evil

You should be viewing life, or a big part of it as a battle of wits. And don’t feel bad for fooling someone. It doesn’t make you evil, not by itself. It’s just a part of life, and you can’t opt out without being at a big disadvantage to those who do. So, try to think smart.

Mark Twain said: “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” So seen that way, it’s just the smartest way to sway. You don’t have to be manipulative, in the true sense of the world, just willing to offer em something that, ideally, steers them in the right direction.

So, you want to be using every tool in your arsenal, if you want to get anywhere. Don’t cap your performance, think for yourself, and keep your cards close to your chest and do what works!

Good luck!
